लिपियों का इतिहास History of Script
(1) देवनागरी लिपि (Devnagari Script) :–देवनागरी एक लिपि है, जिसमें अनेक भारतीय भाषाएँ तथा विदेशी भाषाएँ लिखी जाती हैं। देवनागरी बाँये से दायें लिखी जाती है। इसकी पहचान एक क्षैतिज रेखा (आड़ी लकीर) है जिसे 'शिरोरेखा' कहते हैं।
Devanagari is a script in which many Indian languages and foreign languages are written. Devanagari is written left to right. Its identity is a horizontal line called 'Shirorekha'.
■■ देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी जाने वाली भाषाएँ (Languages written in Devanagari script) :–
देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी जाने वाली भाषाएंँ निम्नलिखित है–
सँस्कृत, पाली, हिंदी, मराठी, कोंकणी, सिंधी, कश्मीरी, डोगरी, नेपाली इसके अलावा बहुत सी उपभाषाएँ जैसे- तामाङ भाषा, गढ़वाली, बोडो, अंगिका, मगही, भोजपुरी, मैथिली, संथाली आदि भाषाएँ देवनागरी में लिखी जाती हैं।
इसके अतिरिक्त कुछ स्थितियों में गुजराती, पंजाबी, विष्णुपुरिया, मणिपुरी, रोमानी और उर्दू भाषाएँ भी देवनागरी में लिखी जाती हैं।
Following are the languages written in Devanagari script -
Sanskrit, Pali, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Dogri, Nepali Apart from this, there are many sub-languages like- Tamang Bhasha, Garhwali, Bodo, Angika, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Santhali etc. languages are written in Devanagari.
Additionally, Gujarati, Punjabi, Vishnupuria, Manipuri, Romani and Urdu languages are also written in Devanagari in some cases.
(2) रोमन लिपि (Roman/script Latin script)) :–
लिखावट का वह तरीका जिसमें अंग्रेजी भाषा सहित पश्चिमी और मध्य यूरोप की सारी भाषाएँ लिखी जाती है जैसे जर्मन, फ्रांसिसी, स्पैनिश, पुर्तगाली, इतालवी, डच, नावेजियन,स्वीडिश, रोमानियाई आदि।
रोमन लिपि भी बाएँ से दाएँ (देवनागरी की भाँति) लिखी व पढ़ी जाती है।
The way of writing in which all the languages of Western and Central Europe including the English language are written such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Navajian, Swedish , Romanian etc.
Roman script is also written and read from left to right (like Devanagari).
(3) अरबी लिपि (Arabic Script) :–
अरबी लिपि दाएँ से बाएँ लिखी जाती है। इसकि कई ध्वनियाँ उर्दू की ध्वनियों से अलग हैं। हर एक स्वर या व्यंजन में लिए (जो अरबी भाषा में प्रयुक्त होते हैं) सिर्फ एक ही अक्षर है।
Arabic script is written from right to left. Many of its sounds are different from the sounds of Urdu. There is only one letter for each vowel or consonant (which is used in Arabic language).
(4) चित्र लिपि (Picture Script) :–
चित्र लिपि ऐसी लिपि को कहा जाता है जिसमें ध्वनि प्रकट करने वाली अक्षरमाला की बजाए अर्थ प्रकट करने वाले भाव चित्र (इडियोग्रैम) होते हैं। ये भाव चित्र ऐसे चित्रलेख चिन्ह होते हैं जो कोई विचार या अवधारणा को व्यक्त करते हैं। चीनी भाषा की लिपि और प्राचीन मिस्र की लिपि चित्र लिपि के उदाहरण हैं।
Picture script is called a script that contains meaning-expressing expressions (idiogram) rather than sound-expressing alphabets. These sentiments are pictographic signs that express an idea or concept. Chinese script and ancient Egyptian script are examples of picture script.
(5) सीरिलिक लिपि (Cyrillic Script) :–
पूर्वी यूरोप और मध्य एशिया के क्षेत्रों की कई भाषाओं को लिखने में प्रयुक्त होती है। इसे अज्बुका भी कहते हैं। जो इस लिपि की वर्णमाला के शुरूआती दो अक्षरों के पुराने नामों को मिलाकर बनाया गया है, जैसे कि यूनानी वर्णमाला के दो शुरुआती अक्षरों अल्फा और बीटा इनको मिलाकर अल्फाबेट (Alphabet) यानी वर्णमाला बनता है। इस लिपि के वर्णों से जिन भाषाओं को लिखा जाता है उसमें रुसी भाषा प्रमुख है। सोवियत संघ के पूर्व सदस्य ताजिकिस्तान में फारसी भाषा का स्थानीय रूप यानी ताजिक भाषा भी इस लिपि में लिखी जाती है। इसके अलावा बुलगारियन, सर्बियन, कज़ाख, मैसीडोनियाई भाषा, उज़बेक, यूक्रेनी तथा मंगोलियाई भाषा भी मुख्यतः इसी लिपि में लिखी जाती है।
Used to write many languages of the regions of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It is also called Azbuka. Which is formed by combining the old names of the first two letters of the alphabet of this script, such as alpha and beta, the two initial letters of the Greek alphabet, to form alphabet. The Russian language is the main language in which the letters of this script are written. In Tajikistan, a former member of the Soviet Union, the local form of Persian language ie Tajik language is also written in this script. In addition, Bulgarian, Serbian, Kazakh, Macedonian, Uzbek, Ukrainian and Mongolian languages are also written mainly in this script.
उपरोक्त लिपियों के अलावा संसार के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में तरह-तरह की लिपियाँ भी प्रचलित है।
