It has strong, sharp teeth, which it uses for catching animals. A tiger's chief food is deer, wild pigs, monkeys and other animals.

प्रश्न 1. बूझो साइकिल चलाना सीख रहा था तभी साइकिल अनियंत्रित हो जाने के कारण वह गिर पड़ा और उसे घुटने में चोट लग गई, चोट वाले स्थान से रक्त बहने लगा। कुछ समय बाद उसने देखा कि रक्त का बहना अपने आप रुक गया और चोट वाले स्थान पर गहरे लाल रंग का एक थक्का जम गया। बूझो यह देखकर आश्चर्य चकित है। बूझो के कुछ प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए-
(i) रक्त का बहना रुक गया, इसका क्या कारण हो सकता है?
उत्तर- रक्त का बहना रुक गया इसका कारण रक्त में एक अन्य प्रकार की कोशिकाओं की उपस्थिति के कारण होता है जिन्हें पट्टिकाणु (प्लेटलेट्स) कहते हैं।
